This is one of the places that you should not miss, with its beautiful landscapes, crystal clear rivers and the diverse flora. But not only will you find nice landscapes, but also you can spend a calm afternoon among family, drinking mates, enjoying nature and the pure air. It has much to offer to the adventurous tourists who want to go trekking, mountain biking or trailing.

You can access it from behind the chapel, on a road that leads to Estancia Grande. In the middle of the route there is a molle (Schinus molle), a big size tree, and one path to go down to the Los Molles River.

The Los Molles River is one of the tributaries of the Potrero de los Funes River, that flows in the Dam of Potrero. On it′s way the river forms wells and waterfalls, crossing very picturesque ravines, with beautiful flora in it′s surroundings like: white Pampas grass (Cortadeira Selloana), Sweetbriar rose (Rosa Rubiginosa) and different fruit trees.

At the top of the ridge you can find the dense groups of molles, which generously provide their green to the mountain. They are responsible for the humidity and they contribute to the ravines´ flow, which can rise noticeably. The molles are the highest specimens around.

Actually, the Los Molles river it's sadly dry, because Potrero de los Funes is in hydric emergency due to a shortage of rains and thanks to climatic change of the last few decades. But heavier rains are expected each year by the end of spring and during the summer, rains that will transform the landscape and their colours in peerless beauty. Although every stage has it′s charms to discover, when you come to Potrero, you won′t lose.
