La Estrechura is a private camp, located on the Camino de las Travesías, this is one of the ways to visit La Punta City. It is located in a narrowing on the ridges wall, which creates its unique natural beauty.

La Estrechura opened in 2016, it had been working before, but not opened to the tourists. Since the opening, many tourists arrive all the time, particularly from Mendoza, Buenos Aires, San Juan and Córdoba, and from other places in the country. Everyone is attracted by the immensity of the place and by the pleasant and calm environment that welcomes them.

La Estrechura is committed to achieve self-sustainability through generating energy from solar panels and wind mills. They also attempted hydroelectric energy generation, but because of its low efficiency, they discontinued that project.
