Stargazing Camping Night

A magical mountain night with an astronomical telescope, bonfire, traditional barbecue and light pollution-free starry sky.

At 1,400 meters above sea level and far from city lights, the sky over Potrero de los Funes is a window to the universe. This night outing includes transfer to base camp, a full barbecue dinner, and an astronomy session with an 8-inch Celestron telescope.

The astronomer guide will take you through the southern hemisphere constellations, show you the Milky Way, Jupiter, Saturn and its moons (depending on the season), and tell stories from indigenous cultures related to the sky.

  • Astronomy session with telescope
