Los Molles River experience
We visited the Los Molles River, where we observed the natural surroundings. During the walk, we enjoyed the scenery and learned more about the local vegetation.
The ascent to the Los Molles River begins behind the Municipal Building, starting along what's known as the old road. During the climb, we observed a wide variety of plants and vegetation along the sides of the path. As we progressed, we also enjoyed beautiful views of the Potrero de los Funes Dam and the town, making the hike even more interesting. Upon reaching the river, we continued observing nature and enjoying the scenery. During the descent, we observed different plant species, such as sweet pepper tree, purple pepper tree, pepper tree, carqueja, usillo, and parrot's wing. Some had flowers, while others had thorns. We also noted the differences in their leaves, sizes, and shapes, which allowed us to learn more about the area's characteristic vegetation.
